I'm relatively new to Boston, and didn't know of this event. Was it advertised anywhere? Was it a private affair?

I share your aversion to beer; however, I am not averse to paying a cover to support a good cause, especially when there's a posibility of meeting some cute guys in a setting other than an over-amplified bar or club. I noticed that the proceeds went to the Fenway.

If they really wanted to make this event a true 'fraternity party' they would have been serving noxious concoctions with names like 'Rocket Fuel', etc. -- all of which are simply Kool-Aid laced with liberal amounts of grain alcohol. However, as I recall these libations usually resulted in some incredible messes.

Ha. Cute.
Technically this was a private thing, otherwise I would have posted something on here ahead of time. It is, however; a well known event in town and most of the guys of a certain crowd find out about it through various grapevines.

And, I'm surprised about the whole Kool-Aid and Rocket Fuel thing, I thought college jock types still thought of those types drinks are "girly". The last actual college fratty type thing I was dragged to was all cheapest possible beer and beer pong. And this was more recently than I care to admit.

So I take it you must be single once again, eh? ;)

e

Why, Mitch, are you planning to visit Boston?
